
Ellie Greenwich
It looks like a lot of famous people decided to simultaneously die this week because we got another R.I.P too (that makes 3), this time its Ellie Greenwich, a songwriter famous for her major hit song¨Be my Baby¨song and also who co-wrote many of the classics of the girl group era, has died at the old age of 68.
Other major hits of hers include Manfred Mann’s “Doo Wah Diddy Diddy,” Darlene Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and Tommy James’ and the Shondells’ “Hanky Panky.”
