Ben Roethlisberger
Andrea McNulty who works as an employee in Harrah’s Casino of Reno, has filed a civil lawsuit against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. McNulty’s lawyer Calvin R. Dunlap filed a six count civil complaint on behalf of his client in Washloe County, Nevada on Friday. These counts are: assault, sexual assault and battery, false pretenses, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and fraud.
The sexual assault lawsuit involved 9 defendants including Ben Roethlisberger. Ben’s lawyer Daniel Cornwell denied the charges and issued following statement:
“This weekend Andrea McNulty served Ben Roethlisberger with a civil complaint accusing him of sexually assaulting her in July 2008. Ben has never sexually assaulted anyone; especially Andrea McNulty. The timing of the lawsuit and the absence of a criminal complaint and a criminal investigation
are the most compelling evidence of the absence of any criminal conduct. If an investigation is commenced, Ben will cooperate fully and Ben will be fully exonerated.”

Ben and his Ex-girlfriend Missy
Andrea McNulty said that Ben Roethlisberger asked her to his room to fix his television and while she was there, he sexually assaulted her.
It will be very interesting to see how the whole case developes.
